Otto is a small computer built to run AI agents around the clock — about the size of a deck of cards. It ships with OpenClaw installed, security hardened, and ready to pair with your phone over NFC. Specs: 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD (or 16GB / 512GB), running Linux. It’s not an on-device LLM box. Agents use cloud models, but they browse from Otto’s own session on your home network — so they look like a real person online, not a cloud bot that sites like LinkedIn, Reddit, or Instagram routinely block.

ChatGPT and Claude are built for conversation. They don’t run in the background, hold a role, or act while you sleep. Always-on agents need a computer that stays on. Close your laptop lid and the agent dies. Spin up a cloud VM and you get blocked on the sites that matter. A machine on your home network — always on, browsing like a person — is the right setup. Otto makes that take a minute instead of a weekend.

A Mac Mini is a general-purpose computer. You’re installing OpenClaw yourself, wiring up tools, and debugging when something breaks. Otto is purpose-built for agents: OpenClaw pre-installed, phone pairing, and a management app — at a lower price. Same class of machine. Far less setup.

Those apps are a chat window into a model someone else hosts. Otto still uses cloud models for intelligence — but the agent itself runs on your hardware, on your network, with its own browser session. You see what it’s doing, approve tool calls, get notified when it needs you, and manage it from your phone. Same models. An actual worker you control — not another chat tab.

$599 is the hardware — yours forever. A $20 fully refundable deposit holds your unit. Before we ship, we email you; you have 7 days to confirm your address and total, then we charge the balance. The 16GB / 512GB config is $799 with a $58 deposit. Shipping is a flat $15 per unit worldwide; international orders may owe import duties on delivery. There’s no hardware subscription. Model usage is pay-as-you-go through the app, or bring your own API keys for $29/month.

The $20 deposit is fully refundable. Before we charge the remaining balance, you can cancel your order by emailing us and receive a full refund of the deposit. After delivery, you have 14 days to return your Otto in original condition and packaging. You cover return shipping, and a 15% restocking fee applies. After 14 days, all sales are final.

Your files, credentials, and browser sessions stay on the device — never on our servers. Agents only send what’s needed to do the job: API calls, browsing, emails — same as if you did it yourself. Because they browse from your home network, they aren’t flagged as cloud bots.

One Otto handles a small team’s worth of agents — think exec assistant, biz dev, ops, and finance monitoring. 5–10 running at once is a solid target.
